I know Golf is boring and this post doesn’t fit into any of our categories, but this is craziness. Some stupid golf course designer came up with an idea for a exquisite 19th hole on a golf course which would require you to tee from a nearby hill.
South Africa’s Legend Golf and Safari Resort’s golf course has the 19th hole set high up on the impressive Hanglip Mountain and is the longest Par 3 in the world and is accessible only by an exhilarating helicopter ride.
It is a par 3 with a teebox that sits 1,400 feet above the green. The hole is 630 yards away and it takes the ball takes nearly 30 seconds to drop to the green below. They call it the Extreme 19th.
The resort offers “A hole-in-one will soon earn the lucky golfer US$1m”, as if somebody will get it.
